Since its incorporation in 1976, Caguas Mechanical Contractor has sought to enhance its performance, capabilities, and resources to benefit both its clients and the local industry. By providing unparalleled quality in its products and services; our company stands out for cultivating a loyal and confident client base since we opened for business over 39 years ago

The legacy started when Mr. Carmelo Nieves established his own company after working for recognized corporations as Amarco Construction and Fridge, Back & More. His vast experience and knowledge of the industry lead him to establish Caguas Mechanical Contractor, a multimillion-dollar agile company run by a highly- skilled team of dedicated workers that provide excellent services for all our clients needs.

Our staff has grown, from its original 4 employees team, to over 200 skillful and experienced professionals. Their dedication has been the driving force that has allowed our company to thrive and grow in the local industry.

After building a loyal client based for its mechanical engineering core business, our company strategically capitalized on its success to expand its product lineup. Civil and Electrical Engineering services were added to its roster of top-notch services. From laying a pipeline to building a power substation, was equipped and ready to perform a wide variety of tasks to meet our client’s need.

The increases in project activity lead to continued operations expansion and changes in our company’s corporate structure. Information technology, budgeting, cost estimating; warehousing, procurement, and site supervision departments were later added to better serve our clients.

In view of our sustained success in the last few years, our company has plans to develop a maintenance department to provide our clients with an enhanced all-inclusive construction services experience. Meanwhile, a new generation of highly educated executives from the Nieves family has joined our staff enriching our corporate team.
